BK delivers comprehensive structural engineering design, analysis, and investigation services nationwide. Founded in 2000 by Dan Kubican, PE, and Craig Brown, PE, our Kentucky-based firm continually evolves to stay at the forefront of the industry. With engineers licensed in 30 states and territories, our diverse and growing team includes professional engineers, engineers-in-training, BIM/CAD technicians, and dedicated support staff – all committed to driving innovation and excellence.

BK provides consultation for buildings of all types, sizes, and material systems using structural analysis and BIM software. We have extensive experience with healthcare, educational, institutional, recreational, commercial, hospitality, industrial, religious, and residential uses; and are equally adept at renovation, renewal, adaptive reuse, and new construction. We deliver design through fast – track, design – bid – build, design – build, and public / private / partnership to best serve the Owner. We also provide component design and construction engineering services – including shoring, bracing, load path verification, delegated design, value engineering, and bid consultation – as well as forensic, performance, and due-diligence investigations, condition assessments, and feasibility studies.
