The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is elevating one AIA member from Kentucky to its prestigious College of Fellows, AIA’s highest membership honor, for his exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society.

The fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession and made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level. Architects who have been elevated to fellowship can be identified by the designation FAIA after their name.

His commitment to collaborative creativity, and determination for consensus-based decision making, engage clients, consultants, and contractors to enrich projects at every phase. His commitment to community-facing work spans all project types, scales, and budgets, yet is always informed by practicality, durability, adaptability, and a compelling connection to context. Colin lives in Louisville with his wife, three children, and an ever-changing array of foster kittens. He has been a part of JRA Architects since 2003, and a principal at the firm since 2018.
