Sights on Success - ARE Prep

Program Overview

The Sights on Success program was established in 2015 to promote the professional growth of emerging professionals in Kentucky by making valuable resources available to them at a reduced cost and by providing them with a structured path to follow in their pursuit of licensure. For each participant, we are provided a 10-month subscription to the online library of ARE study tutorials available through ARE Prep, powered by Black Spectacles; and to supplement the participants’ individual review of this material, we facilitated one Q&A workshop for each exam. In these workshops, our participants were able to discuss their questions with a professional volunteer who could offer expertise in the content area applicable to that exam. It is our hope that the support of peers in this program and the provision of an established schedule is helpful in keeping our participants focused and accountable, which will translate to a high rate of success and will also create a group of young professionals who experience the value of AIA early in their careers.
